What are recipes the whole family can enjoy?

Registered dietitian Jenna Godfrey suggests creating balanced meals that include fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, healthy fats and lean protein sources. Make vegetables the focus of your meals and try to incorporate a variety of veggies (the more colorful the dish is, the healthier it will be). Use whole wheat pasta or pastas made from beans (e.g. Banza chickpea pasta, red lentil pasta). Spaghetti squash is also a great idea for the family – toss with olive oil and seasoning!
