Hi, Get Fit crew!

via Get Fit Challenge

We’re so glad you’ve committed to getting fit. Our new site makes it easier to log your activity, cheer your friends on and get fit-spired. You can also post a photo using #WeGetFit on Twitter or Instagram as a form of entry. Feel free to mix and match, it’s completely up to you!

The best thing about the challenge is that you can take it at your own pace. We’ve set check-in levels to reach, each with their own set of prizes. This is your journey – map it out however you’d like!

We suggest setting up your profile and take a look around. If you have any questions, we’re happy to answer them here.

  1. So excited!

  2. I am trying to make sure I have this correct. I have to go to one of the sites and exercise there for 30 min strait then come home and log in the info. Is there somewhere on site I must sign in at the site? I do live almost across from the Roosevelt site.

  3. Hi Melanie! If you have a smartphone, you can log your activity by visiting this site and signing in. Then click “Log your fitness activity” on the homepage. We hope this helps!

  4. Sorry to be a bother.. but I was just double checking on if you can only exercise at those places listed? And what you need to verify you went there to exercise?

  5. No worries, Melanie! Yes, you will need to visit one of the 60+ locations and log your activity in order to participate in this challenge. We look forward to adding even more locations in the future! To verify that you were there, simply click the “Log your fitness activity” button on the homepage and fill out the form. It will ask you the type of activity you performed, the distance/duration and your location. Thanks for your questions!

  6. JoAnn O,

Would love to participate but finding out how this program works is very difficult. Seems to be no check-in sites near Kent/Lake Carmel?? Do I have to drive to Brewster or Mahopac to login my activities even if I am walking in my own neighborhood or on my treadmill? Seems to be a waste of time and gas not to mention pollution! Any help/advice would be helpful. Thanks

  7. Hi, JoAnn! Currently, the check-in locations that we have on our About Us page are the places where you can log your activity for this challenge. We’ve worked hard to partner with these current locations and plan to add more in the future.

  8. Kim Carlin,

I can’t seem to find the check-in locations on this site – maybe it’s just me but all I came up with was a google map looking thing – but no sites listed. Help!

  9. Kim Carlin,

Oops….just found the list. I’ll blame the fact that I hadn’t had any caffeine yet 😳 Excited for another challenge – bummed I haven’t been able to start yet – hoping for today!! Good luck everyone and have fun!

  10. Glad you were able to find it, Kim! Good luck! 🙂

  11. Christy,

Can Putnam Hospital be one of the sites. Many of us walk on our lunch break around the hospital.

  12. Hi, Christy! Currently, the check-in locations that we have on our About Us page are the places where you can log your activity for this challenge. We encourage you to keep walking on your lunch breaks, though! We’ll be adding more locations in the fall and will include Putnam Hospital Center as a check-in location. Thank you for your feedback!
